Our Clients Love Us

Don't just take it from us, check out what some of our favorite clients and vendors have to say about working with Hoopla.

[Our event's] success is indeed contributed to Hoopla who made this whole process, not just manageable, but pleasurable. You are a joy to work with and I do take credit for choosing the very best partners. The feedback [on our event] has been wonderful and our staff could not say enough about how much easier [our event] was compared to past events and past consultants.

Hoopla made all of the difference for Restore Justice Illinois in 2018. To say they were an extension of my team is an understatement. We lost a key staffer just two months before the event, and for an organization that has the eqivalent of 3 full time staff, that represented a third of our workforce! Hoopla didn't just extend, they transformed. They looked at our situation, came up with a plan that fit, and then delivered, delivered, delivered. My favorite part of working with the team at Hoopla, however, was not the outcome (which was great). It was the joy they brought to the process. They were generous with their warmth, humor, and creativity. And they were not afraid to coach this tired (dare I say a little burned out) executive director through some tough moments, reminding me that there are things about fundraising events that I actually do enjoy. I'm better at my job today than I was before I worked with Hoopla.

I’ve been working with the Hoopla Communications team for a little over a year now, and they have been a tremendous partner in creating flawless events. Not only do they make my job easier, but they take the pressure off their clients with such ease and grace. I would highly recommend hiring them and look forward to partnering with them on many more events in the future!

Hoopla Communications has been an absolute pleasure to work with for a few events put on by Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) Greater Chicago. Hoopla provides more than event support - they provide support for mission-driven organizations and affiliated events which creates a different level of intimacy and commitment to the work. Hoopla is detail-oriented, efficient, easy to work with, and provides thoughtful feedback throughout the planning and execution of each event. Thank you, Hoopla!

Hoopla Communications has provided amazing event planning services to Connections for Abused Women and their Children for over 10 years. Our gala, Sounds of Silence, is our largest fundraiser of the year and with Hoopla's expert services is a wonderful success year after year! We used to tackle the planning on our own which involved so much more woman power than we were equipped to handle, now I don't know what we would do without them. The ingredients to the success of our Gala is Hoopla's great connections, sharp skills, attention to details, knowledge of what is current, and the fact that they are the nicest people ever. It feels like working with friends, as apposed to just some company.

I highly recommend Hoopla Communications for your event planning needs, you will not regret it.

We had the great opportunity to work with Hoopla Communications for our first time on Open House Chicago. I was attracted to them because of their commitment to working with non-profits and I wasn’t disappointed. From start to finish, I appreciated their professionalism as they offered advice and expertise on the project. The provided a new perspective for our citywide program and their commitment to the project was unsurpassed. They regularly offered voices of reason, generosity and fun. Thank you Hoopla!

Our first year working with Hoopla on Open House Chicago has been a pleasure. From before we hired them, through the conclusion of the event, they have gone the extra mile to understand the peculiarities of the program. They brought fresh perspective and new ideas that were critical to our success in a year of transitions, and will continue to pay dividends in coming years. We could 100% count on them to do the things we needed them to do – and always with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service, both to us and to the members of the public involved in OHC. Getting Hoopla involved in supporting OHC was one of the best decisions we made this year.

I have worked with Hoopla Communications over the past 7 years on many terrific events, supporting a list of wonderful causes. Their balance of professionalism and heart is their strength and what drives success for their clients. City Winery is a better program for having worked with them; looking forward to many more Hoopla collaborations.

Hoopla Communications has the ability to combine work with fun to produce stellar results. Hoopla embraces each client’s mission and is able to use it to guide decision making throughout a project. They draw from a broad skill set and extensive experience in event planning and production, strategic planning, and program development to propose a big picture vision for each project. Hand-in-hand with clients, Hoopla helps to set priorities and then jumps into the details of agreed upon project.

I’ve come to think of Hoopla as an adviser on a broad range of projects. In various positions over the last twelve years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Hoopla to produce events ranging in size from a 150 person cocktail party to a 300 person sit-down dinner. Even when producing the same event for an organization in a subsequent year, Hoopla brings ideas to the table and fosters input from stakeholders. These conversations produce unique profiles for each event. Hoopla manages long-range plans and gritty details with ease and professionalism.

Hoopla Communications is one of the most creative and versatile events companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

During my time at the Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) in Chicago, I worked with Hoopla on everything from strategic planning to coordination and event management of our largest annual event, the Entrepreneurial Woman's Conference. As the forerunners of women's economic development in the country, and as a leading advocacy organization, I appreciated the breadth of understanding of the multifaceted strategic events we were creating and presenting to our constituency. Christine Kowalke, a staunch advocate herself, and her team, understood this better than anyone and never lost sight of the importance of our mission and vision.

The Hoopla team not only brought a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the table, but they did it in a positive, energetic, responsible and trustworthy way. I enjoyed the 15+ year relationship we shared and hope we are able to work our magic together again in the future!
